Watch Dave Chappelle Make His Acting Comeback In 'A Star Is Born' Trailer

Dave Chappelle's last feature film role was in Spike Lee's 2015 film Chi-Raq.

Dave Chappelle will be making his acting comeback in this year's film A Star Is Born. A trailer for the movie dropped today and features Chappelle as Noodles, a close friend of the film's main character Jackson Maine (played by Bradley Cooper).

The latest remake of the film — this marks the third one — A Star Is Born tells the story of the romantic and creative relationship between accomplished singer Jackson Maine (Cooper) and aspiring artist Ally (Lady Gaga). Along with handling the lead role, Cooper also assumes the role of director, co-producer, and screenplay co-writer.

Cooper's A Star Is Born drops on October 5.

Three weeks ago came news that Chappelle and Jon Stewartare embarking on a tour together. The comedic heavyweights will be on a seven-day tour in June that begins in Boston and ends in El Paso, Texas. Chappelle and Stewart last performed together during the former's residency last year at New York City's Radio City Music Hall. The tour dates can be seen below.
