Diddy Loses Out on His Bid to Buy the Carolina Panthers

It all started with a tweet.
A day after Jerry Richardson who got hit with numerous sexual harassment allegations announcedthat he was selling the Carolina Panthers, Diddy sent out a tweet saying that he wanted to buy the team:
Diddystartedcampaigningaggressively to buytheteam. He was able to get help from the likes of Stephen Curry and even Colin Kaepernick.
The dream came to an end on Tuesday. Pittsburgh Steelers minority owner David Tepper has agreed to buy the team for a record$2.2 billion. Tepper is expected to finalize the deal on Tuesday.

So what happened to Diddy? Well, the mogul teamed up with Curry and Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin to try and make a bid. But the group dropped out after the price went well north of the $2 billion price tag.

Tepper is the founder of the hedge fund Appaloosa Management. He has a net worth of $11 billion, according to Forbes.
Reports are that Tepper is expected to keep the team in Charlotte, North Carolina.
