Diddy Claims Mase Owes Him $3 Million — Not The Other Way Around
While visiting The Breakfast Club, Diddy dismissed Mase's allegations of owing the Harlem World rapper money.
Diddy isn't here for Mase calling him out. On Wednesday (October 5), the Bad Boy Entertainment founder stopped by The Breakfast Club where co-host DJ Envy brought up Mase's checkered past with Fivio Foreign. The rapper and businessman, whose real name is Sean Combs, said that he "didn't do anything" to Mase and shut down any "negative propaganda."
Charlamagne Tha God asked how much Mase owes, with Combs asserting that he has "the receipts."
"Ma$e owes me $3 million dollars," he said. "That's facts. I got the receipts."
DJ Envy went on to mention that during his time on Bad Boy in the '90s, Mase released two solo albums, Harlem World and Double Up before "retiring" to becoming a pastor. Combs retorted by calling Mase a "fake pastor" who "conned people." Combs went on to mention that he was able to patch up differences with former Bad Boy act The LOX, and that contrary to popular belief, he doesn't hustle his artists. Combs even made an offer to his other former artists:
"I will tell anybody that anybody thinks I owe them something, show me the receipt and you'll get paid in 24 hours," he said.
Mase's grudge with the "Gotta Move On" rapper surfaced on social media following the 2020 Grammy Awards, after Diddy made a speech about a lack of diversity in the music industry. Earlier this year, Mase followed up with diss track "The Oracle 2: The Liberation of Mason Betha." This month, the rapper will embark on the 3 Headed Monster Tour with Jadakiss and former foe Cam'Ron.
