Pass The Popcorn: Don Cheadle IS Miles Davis In The Official 'Miles Ahead' Trailer
It's been a long time coming, but it appears Don Cheadle's passion project, the Miles Davis biopic, Miles Ahead, will soon be coming to a theater near you. And, if we may say so, it looks absolutely riveting. Up until today, all we've had to gauge this anxiously-anticipated project on has been a few clips of Cheadle behind the horn, but now we have that and so much more with the arrival of the official trailer, revealing Cheadle's new do, directing the film and starring as the jazz legend, plagued by addiction, fighting to maintain control over his music and himself as the world attempts to peer into his badass madcap brain. Luckily, we won't have to wait much longer to lay our eyes and ear on the film, as it's currently slated to be released on April 1st nationwide, starring Cheadle and Ewan McGregor as reporter Dave Brill, with a score from the great modern jazz giant, Robert Glasper.
