Donald Glover Will Play Simba In New 'Lion King' Movie
Donald Glover(aka Childish Gambino) is on a roll. The actor, musician, and writer has been cast to play Simba in the new upcoming Disney remake of Lion King. Director Jon Favreau took to Twitter to announce the news. Veteran actor James Earl Jones will play the role of Mufasa. Jones voiced Mufasa in the original 1994 Lion King. Favreau directed 2016's live action remake of The Jungle Book. Glover's schedule is pretty busy considering he is also working on the forthcoming Han Solo Star Wars film for which he's cast as a young Lando Calrissian.
