Despite Grammys Win, Donald Glover Still Plans To Retire Childish Gambino
Last year Donald Glover revealed that his next album under the moniker Childish Gambinowould be his last. However, when it was recently announced that he signed a new record deal with RCA it seemed as if the plan to retire the name was no longer the case.

Now, Glover has confirmed that he still plans on putting down the name even though he's working on new music.
"I stand by that," he said of the retirement comment. "I'm really appreciative of this. I'm making another project right now. But I like endings, I think they're important to progress."
"I think if a lot of things had death clauses in them, we wouldn't have a lot of problems in the world, to be honest," he added. "I think endings are good because they force things to get better."

Glover received a Grammy for best traditional R&B performance for “Redbone” during last night's ceremony. He also performed Awaken, My Love! cut "Terrified" with his Lion King co-star J.D. McCrary during the event too.
