President Donald Trump sent a direct message to Colin Kaepernick or any other NFL player who protests the national anthem before games: "get that son of a bitch off the field."
On Friday night, the president delivered a 90-minute speech in Alabama in support of junior senatorLuther Strange, who is in a heated special primary election battle with former judge Roy Moore.

During the speech, Trump took the time out to criticize NFL players who protest the flag before games, saying that owners should "fire" those players. It was clearly a shot at quarterback Colin Kaepernick who spent last season protesting police brutality:

Trump also went out of his way to criticize the focus on CTE research. It's an interesting strategy, considering that just yesterday it came out that killer Aaron Hernandez had a severe case of CTE:
