According to a report in VarietyMonday morning, the song wasn't played at Manchester Arena, where Drake kicked off his Assassination Vacation tour with Tory Lanez and Tiffany Calver. The track previously appeared on the rapper's setlists for his Aubrey and the Three Migos tour in 2018.

No official statement had been released addressing the reason behind the song's removal. The occurrence has sparked interest as it comes during the midst of HBO's Leaving Neverland documentary, which features personal testimonials of two men who accuse Michael Jackson of sexual abuse.
