araabMUZIK - "Motion Picture" + Tour Dates

Roots Picnic 2013 headliner and serial MPC killer araabMUZIK unveils a cinemeatic new beat, appropriately titled "Motion Picture." Brings to mind the theme music of classic horror flicks like The Exorcist  or maybe Halloween, but with a 2013 headbang feel to it, the trilling piano loop playing the trap-bordering-on3ball triple-time while the drum mark a spare half-time. A stark contrast to the flying hand-drums of his most recent jawn "The Prince Is Coming" this epically spartan beat almost automatically suggests the voice of your favorite rapper to provide counterpoint to the big drum hits. Personally I'm hearing Danny Brown but since he's not at Roots Picnic this year we'll have to hope for a spontaneous Joey Bada$$ and Gaslamp Killer collabo.
