Eric Andre Gets Attacked By A Gorilla in Official 'Bad Trip' Trailer
The official trailer for the new Eric Andre film has arrived.
On Tuesday, Netflix released the official trailer for Bad Trip, the hidden-camera prank comedy movie starring Eric Andre, Lil Rel Howery, and Tiffany Haddish. The movie will premiere on Netflix on March 26th. Take a look at the official trailer below.
Bad Trip was originally scheduled to premiere at South by Southwest in March 2020. After the premiere, the film would be released on April 17, 2020. The film was subsequently postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, then accidentally added to Amazon Prime Video on the 17th, and illegally pirated prior to its release. Back in May, however, Variety reported that MGM sold the film to Netflix and that the film leaking had no effect on its sale.
The film follows two friends Bud and Chris, who steal Bud's sister's (Haddish) car to embark on a cross-country road trip. Along the way, the two get their kicks by pulling hidden-camera pranks. The film is co-produced by Jeff Tremaine, one of the creators of MTV's Jackass.
The new trailer shows the surrounding narrative elements--the pranks are pulled on and around real people, but the movie still follows a script. We also get a look into what type of ridiculous pranks we can expect from Howery and Andre. They involve car vacuum units, a selfie with a gorilla, an inappropriately-used Chinese finger trap, and an unfortunate incident involving a Port-A-Potty.
Tune in to Bad Trip on Netflix starting March 26th.
