Emily B. called the cops on Fabolous after he allegedly struck her at their Englewood, NJ home. Fab, whose given name is John Jackson, then turned himself in at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night. He has been released from police custody.
According to North Jersey News, court documents show the alleged crime stemmed from an earlier incident on March 7, when Fab was reportedly in Los Angeles on a business trip and had "became enraged" when he found out via Instagram that Emily B was also in L.A. According to an affidavit of probable cause, Emily told police that Fab said via text he wanted to hit her in the head with a baseball bat and that he would kill her but he "did not want to go out like that." Court documents say she was later punched by Fabolous seven times in the face, causing her to lose two front teeth.
The affidavit states that because of the dispute, Emily B "called her father to remove two handguns from the residence due to her fear that they may be used against her." When the rapper arrived, he confronted her, her and father, and brother, then searched the residence looking for the handguns which had been removed. "When he could not locate the guns, the defendant left the house, but not before informing the victim, her father and her brother that he had a bullet for them," the court documents say.

The 40-year-old rapper reportedly didn't spend time in jail, but was cited for the incident and assigned an upcoming court appearance.
"I’ve known Fab close to 20 years and believe he is incapable of engaging in the alleged conduct," Fabolous' attorney, Alberto Ebanks told Billboard.
Neither Fabolous nor Emily B have released statements. The couple has been on-and-off for over a decade and have two children together.
