Fashion Friday: Solange x Lucky Magazine, C-10 By adidas Originals + More
The top item on ourFashion Friday list of style news this week is Solange (again). She has recently been on every lip. This time around, she's the Lucky Magazine cover girl for their August 14 issue. As usual, she's flawless and trendy. During the interview, she goes through her style, education, music amongst other topics. Of course, the elevator incident appears in the interview but she handled it with class, referring to 'that thing' by saying: 'what we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that'. Well, it is definitely not our business and we'd like to focus on her style and music. She's got both: an album is planned for this Fall and as to fashion, she stated:
"When I look back at old pictures, my dad was always smartly dressed, my mom had the most elegant, beautiful style, and my sister was very into the ’90s Cross Colours look, and I... just had all of these different things inside me… It’s interesting how the past comes back full circle and then it becomes more refined."

As far as new Spring/ Summer 15 collections coming out, we're looking at: 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi. Inspired by the paint-on-chrome palette of graffiti bombing, this wide-range of bold garments are definitely en vogue and will draw your attention straight away. The black & white lookbook displays some pretty monochrome pieces with detailed graphics and structured tailoring. For their first collaboration with graffiti paint supplier Montana Colors, most of the collection are outwear pieces and will be outstanding within other brands next year.
Speaking of monochrome and structure, adidas Originals presents the C-10. We have to say that we have a crush on this pair of sneakers. They combine aesthetic and wearability. A go-to pair of high tops, they're inspired by innovative automobile design and cutting edge architecture so it make sense they have the shape and construction of a futuristic fortress. This is a must-have which will be available in August for US$90.00.
