Listen To Fat Tony & Brady Watt's New Song "Runnin'"
The collaborative track is an ode to the pair's punk roots.
Fat Tony has released a new track titled "Runnin'." Featuring bassist and producer Brady Watt, the track is an upbeat punk anthem as Tony reflects on himself and the people he was surrounded by in the past, while striving to better himself in the present.

"This song is our take on elements of some punk music like gang vocals, the backbeat, and angst in general," Tony said in an email. "It's about leaving your hometown and wanting a change of pace from your undesirable routines."
The image that accompanies the track is of Tony and his friend (not Watts) playing songs in his teenage bedroom.
Tony met Watts, who also plays in Talib Kweli's backing band, when the two played together at Low End Theory in Los Angeles in early 2018.
Last year, Tony released his album 10,000 Hours, a versatile project that found him exploring elements of rap, rock, country, and other genres through its 14 tracks.
"More than ever it's important for me to highlight my influences in what I do because I want to reach people that feel the same way," Tony said in a previous interview with Okayplayer. "I want to talk to kids that grew up loving Houston rap music and Prince, punk bands like Bikini Kill, or hardcore bands like Black Flag and Bad Brains. I can’t be the only one that likes all that shit at the same time. Now, I wanna be very vocal about it."
