Taking its name from the HIV prevention drug pre-exposure prophylaxis, PrEP+ pays "homage to what could have been of the 1980s' NYC club scene if the drug....had been invented in that era," according to a press release via Pitchfork. The event includes the following house rules:
No photos or videos are allowedConsent is mandatory
Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or any form of discrimination
The dance floor is for dancing
PrEP+ is attributed to Blonded (the name of Ocean's website, Instagram handle, and radio show).
As Pitchfork noted, ticket links to the event have already been distributed. The venue will be revealed to ticket holders on the night. The event will run from 10 p.m. until late.

In related news, Ocean said that he's working on new music influenced by club music.
"I've been interested in club, and the many different iterations of nightlife for music and songs," he said in a recent interview. "And so the things I look at now have a lot to do with those scenes: Detroit, Chicago, techno, house, French electronic."
