Production on the highly anticipated Freddie Mercury biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody. has halted. The reason? The movie's director, Bryan Singer, has gone AWOL.
According to thestudio, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Singer left the set because of a health issue.

The studio released a statement after the news broke:
Twentieth Century Fox Film has temporarily halted production on Bohemian Rhapsody due to the unexpected unavailability of Bryan Singer.
Singer's rep also put out a statement:
This is a personal health matter concerning Bryan and his family. Bryan hopes to get back to work on the film soon after the holidays.

This is definitely an interesting development. According to Deadline, there are rumors that Singer has had issues on the set, and this isn't the first time he's left the set.
