GoldLink Drops A Visual For His Kaytranada-Helmed Cut "Sober Thoughts"
DMV rhyme-slayer GoldLink has been a busy man over the last 365. He's connected with FALCONS on the Missy-chopping cool-out cut "Vroom," graced stages with Soulection wunderkind Sango and concocted vibe-inducing burners with the likes of Kaytranada on the deceptively intoxicating loosie "Sober Thoughts". Today, he's unveiled a party-clad clip (another one from Shomi Patwary) for the latter track (roughly a year after it was first introduced to us) finding himself and the crew amidst a righteous scene; dimes, drugs and liquor intact. The warmth of Katra's synth-heavy production and GL's effortless word weaving bode almost too well for the subdued funk of this hazy heater, cementing it as a must-play at your next cookout or rooftop soiree. GoldLink's last project The God Complexlanded last July to virtually unanimous approval, strutting productions from Lakim, Louie Lastic, Jaylen!, not to mention a slew of others and is available for you to purchase via iTunes today. Put your eyes and ears to the new clip for his Kaytranada-helmed single "Sober Thoughts" below and be sure to check back for the latest sights and sounds, as we hear murmurs of his next project having none other than Rick Ruben at the reigns.
