IDK Is Bringing The Late MF DOOM, Jay Electronica & Westside Gunn Together On A Track
MF DOOM had previously appeared on IDK's track "Pizza Shop Extended" alongside Del the Funky Homosapien and Yung Gleesh.
IDK has a track featuring the late MF DOOM, Jay Electronica and Westside Gunn in the chamber.
In a report from HipHopDX, the Maryland rapper shared the cover art for the track, titled "Red," on the IDK subreddit "IDKIFYOUDONTKNOW."
"NO DATE NO IDEA WHEN ITS COMING BUT HERE'S A LIL LEAKY LEAKY FOR MY REDDIT PPLS," IDK wrote alongside a picture of the cover art. The cover art also includes the following message:
I see blue but I thought it was red ’cause that’s what they taught me. And there’s no way to describe it to you… So how do we know if we see the same thing, if we can’t even say that we see the same thing? If me and you can literally talk about colors, and we’re not advanced enough… society, humanity, whatever you wanna call it… to know if we actually even see the same colors then how can we say there is no God?
The rapper also spoke about the track during a Ask Me Anything on the HipHopHeads subreddit Wednesday, telling fans that he's most excited for them to hear "Red" off the new album.
As he said in the subreddit, "Red" has no release date yet. But it'll surely be a treat to hear all of these features on the same track together.
DOOM previously appeared on IDK's "Pizza Shop Extended" in 2017 alongside Del the Funky Homosapien and Yung Gleesh. Prior to his passing, DOOM had appeared on a track with Flying Lotus titled "Lunch Break," as well on a track with BADBADNOTGOOD called "The Chocolate Conquistadors."
