Isaiah Rashad Responds to Alleged Sex Tape Leak During Coachella 2022

During his Coachella set on Saturday, Top Dawg Entertainment rapper Isaiah Rashad broke his silence on alleged sex tape leaks from February.

Isaiah Rashad isn't hiding. On Saturday, the Top Dawg Entertainment rapper performed at Coachella, opening his set with a video montage that addressed his alleged sex tape leaks. In February, clips of a man – alleged to be Rashad – went viral; the footage allegedly showed the rapper engaging in sexual acts with men.

Although Rashad didn't immediately address the footage, on Saturday, he broke his silence. As Rashad took to the Coachella stage, the montage featured clips of The Game, Joe Budden, and DJ Akademiks speaking on the leaked videos in support of the rapper.

“The purpose of doing that was to embarrass him,” says an unnamed person in the montage. “However, it backfired. When his video leaked, his streams and everything went up. He’s up on the charts now.”

Following the montage, Rashad performed cuts from his catalog, including his 2021 album The House Is Burning, also bringing out Doechii, SiR and more Top Dawg Entertainment artists. The opening of Rashad's set made for an emotional comeback, as the rapper shed a tear while performing "Wat's Wrong" from his 2016 album The Sun's Tirade.

Emotions continued to run high as the rapper took a moment to address the crowd. "I see all the messages and all that shit, all the positivity – Y'all niggas done kept me alive these last couple months," he said.

Earlier this month, TDE president Terrence “Punch” Henderson responded to an aspiring rapper who made a quip about Rashad's sexuality.

“Wait.. so you want me to be concerned about another grown man’s sex life??” Punch tweeted. “Is that what you’re really interested in? As oppose to having a dialogue about music??”

The rapper then deleted his tweet and quickly apologized, claiming that he was a fan of Rashad.
