"It's Not Going to Change The World" - Chaka Khan on Her Upcoming Collaboration with Ariana Grande
The soul icon offers her take on a "cute" collaboration with the pop star.
On Friday, Ariana Grande revealed the official tracklist for the soundtrack to the upcoming Charlie's Angels reboot.
Sharing a November 15th release date with the film, the soundtrack features Grande on five of its ten songs, including collaborations with a who's who of current pop. Nicki Minaj and Normani appear with the pop star on "Bad to You," while Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey share the credits on "Don't Call Me Angel." Longtime writing partner, Victoria Monet, is on the marquee for "Got Her Own" and r&b luminaries, Donna Summer and Chaka Khan, each get a run with Grande on a stacked guest list.

And while most of the album's co-stars have been fairly quiet about their contributions, the former Rufus frontwoman reluctantly offered her take on "Nobody," the collaboration featured on the soundtrack. Pressed by Variety on the red carpet of Lifetime's Power of Women luncheon, Khan described the track as "cute," but added (hilariously,) "it's not going to change the world."
Twitter has (rightfully) declared this 2019's "great gowns" moment and it's kinda hard to argue. You win, internets.
