Jay-Z's '4:44' Bonus Tracks Revealed, May Feature James Blake Collaboration

Universal confirms a trio of bonus tracks will be included in the physical release of 4:44

As Jay-Z's new album breaks free of its TIDAL exclusivity, fans are readying themselves for the official physical release of the already platinum 4:44 (thanks, Sprint.)

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the album's producer, No I. D., revealed that their collaborative work began after a chance run-in with Bed Stuy rapper at a restaurant that inspired him along with a recent Quincy Jones interview that reduced a whole generation of music to "four-bar loops." He describes rigorous and relentless output that amounted to roughly 500 sketches of tracks and that James Blake had joined them in the studio for the tail-end of the album's conception, though he refrained from detailing just what part Blake has in the final product. Earlier in the week, Roc-A-Fella's own, Young Guru, revealed that "Adnis," a song teased in the first trailer for the album (but suspiciously omitted from the final tracklist) would arrive with 4:44's physical release.

Now, Universal has confirmed "Adnis" along with two more songs, "Blue's Freestyle/We Family"  and "MANYFACEDGOD," will be included in the slightly-delayed CD release. Whether James Blake's contribution made the final physical cut has yet to be determined, but our fingers are crossed, as the British singer and producer's recent streak of high-profile collaborations -- Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, Frank Ocean and more -- has been nothing short of stellar.

Currently, the CD release has yet to be fit with a date, though it's arrival seams imminent at this point. 4:44 has, however, been made available to stream and download sans subscription via 444.tidal.com. You can also purchase or stream the album the proper TIDAL-provided way below.
