On Friday, September 7th, J. Coletook his KOD tour to Las Vegas. There, he dedicated the show to rapper Mac Miller, who died of an apparent overdose earlier that day.

Before performing "Love Yourself," Cole delivered an emotional speech, saying:
As you grow up, you go through some traumatic shit...You leave it alone and you ignore it, and before you know it, youre 20 fucking years old and youre walking around with all this shit thats accumulated. Every day, Vegas, people die.... And they never got a chance to deal with their shit.... Im not trying to wait till I die to deal with my shit. Im trying to deal with my shit right fuckin now.
