Watch Jeb Bush & The Roots Slow Jam The News On 'The Tonight Show'
Jeb Bush, fresh off the announcement of his running in the 2016 presidential election, stopped by The Tonight Showlast night for a little news reading seduction. The prospective GOP candidate (and marginally more likable politician than his war criminal big bro) figured he'd get in some brownie points with the millennials, putting his monotone, southern spin on slow jamming the news with the mighty Roots crew and Jimmy Fallon last night. And to be honest, as little as you may like the guy (or any man in his bloodline for that matter) pulled it off without a hitch, leaving the pun-y business to the pro and letting the liquid '70s soul pour from the hardest working band in show business. But hard as he tried, it barely held a flame to the effortless cool one Barack Obama exuded during his rendition all those years ago, or even when Brian Williams stepped up to the podium just last year. Watch GOP candidate Jeb Buch slow jam the news with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots on The Tonight show below and join us in hoping this is the most official capacity we see young Bush in over the next year.
