Jimi Tents Drops A Video For His New Track "Phone Down (Freestyle)"
March 23, 2017
Jimi Tents' last project was the EP 5 O'Clock Shadow, which dropped at the end of 2015. The standout track from that project was the upbeat "Landslide," which has a beat that flips during the last 10 seconds of the song.
Tents decided to take that beat, and just completely rip it, on a new track called "Phone Down (Freestyle)". The talented Brooklyn rapper also put out a video for the song, which features Jimi flexing on a roof.
But, really, it's all about the bars with Jimi. And he has some impeccable ones on this song:
"Every rapper fake deep, sell dope or got depression. I'm not stressing out my soul. I'm just focused on my goals. Ima jump up in my bag, let off and then reload."
Check out the video and the song below.
