Jimmy Henchman Gets 2 Life Sentences for Murder of 50 Cent Affiliate Lodi Mack
"I maintain my innocence."
On November 8, former music mogul James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosmand received two life sentences for the murder of 50 Cent affiliate, Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher.
Mack was killed in September 2009 following a violent feud between G-UnitandThe Game, who was managed by Henchman at the time. The series of events in the infamous feud included a shooting in front of Hot 97, the assault of Henchman's then-teenaged son, a shooting of Tony Yayo's grandmother's house, and the firebombing of 50 Cent's mansion.
The U.S. Attorney's Office of the Southern District of New York confirmed the sentencing and issues a press release:
“James Rosemond’s thirst for revenge following the assault of his son left 32-year-old Lowell Fletcher dead on a dark Bronx street. Our Office has fought for justice for Fletcher’s family for more than four years and through three jury trials. Now, Rosemond’s fate has been sealed and he has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison for this crime.”
50 Cent responded to the news via a post on Instagram that has since been deleted.

The 53-year-old shared an open letter withAllHipHop.com maintaining that he is innocent, writing, "When a trial isn’t about fact-finding to elicit the truth and condemn the guilty then it’s not about justice. My trial was about grabbing a headline and building a prosecutors personal career."
He continued, "After three trials for this murder not one of the governments embellishing witnesses said that I told them to murder Lowell Fletcher; in fact, Brian McCleod, Khalil Abdullah and Jason Williams respectively stated they never had a conversation about the murder."
He goes on to write, "My trial was covered up and drown out with unrelated shootings, hip hop gang fairy tales and non-existing “rap wars” that never existed."
Henchman has been serving a separate life sentence for drug trafficking since 2013.
