Joey shared the news during a recent interview with Angie Martinez.
"Me and Dave East is in [the] Wu-Tang [series]," he said. "I'm Inspectah Deck."
From there, Martinez asked Joey how much of the show has been shot.
"We're still shooting, but it comes out this year though," he said. "It's going good. Any time I ain't really gotta be there every day, it's going great!"
The radio personality also asked the Beast Coast member about the authenticity of the show and how it portrays the legendary Staten Island rap group.
"It's pretty on point, from what I've seen, like just from the scenes that I've been a part of," he said. "It's pretty on point. I like what they're doing. I like how they doing it."
Joey now joins Dave East, who will portray Method Man in the series. Recently, Meth explained why Dave was portraying him in the show.
"I cannot play myself as young myself, it wouldn’t even look right," the rapper and actor said. "I saw it as an opportunity for someone like myself when I first got into it, ’cause there weren’t a lot of people giving you a chance to show that you can do it."
"So when I seen Dave’s name in the pot I was like, ‘yeah he’s just like me. He wants to be an actor, fuck it, give him a shot,'" he added.
Wu-Tang: An American Saga will have a 10 series run on Hulu.
