According to Variety, Screen Media has purchased the distribution rights to The Jesus Rolls, a Lebowski spin-off written, directed, and starring, Turturro, centering on the notorious (alleged) pederass. Joining Turturro in his eighth directorial appearance, the cast features Jon Hamm, Susan Sarandon, Bobby Cannavale, and Pete Davidson, in "a transgressive film about the stupidity of men."

Formerly titled, Going Places, the film's synopsis teases: "a trio of misfits whose sexually charged dynamic evolves into a surprising love story as their spontaneous and flippant attitude towards the past or future backfires time and again, even as they inadvertently perform good deeds. When they make enemies with a gun-toting hairdresser, their journey becomes one of constant escape from the law, from society and from the hairdresser, all while the bonds of their outsider family strengthen."
The Jesus Rolls is set for an early 2020 release. Hold tight for updates in the weeks and months ahead.
