Jonti Returns With Dreamy New Single "Scrood" feat. Steve Lacy

Stones Throw's Jonti has quietly been returning to the world over the last few months. Back in January, the South African vocalist and multi-instrumentalist joined BADBADNOTGOOD for a rework of The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows" live and direct on triple j's Like A Version. Today he returns with the dreamy new single "Scrood," featuring The Internet's Steve Lacy on vocals, guitar and bass.

For Lacy, it marks yet another standout collaboration, following several spots on both Syd and Matt Martians' solo debuts, not to mention his own "song series." For Jonti, it's yet another signal of new music on the way. Based on "Scrood" alone, you'll want to stay tuned.
