Jordan Peele Reveals Another Alternate Ending For 'Get Out'
The DVD release of Jordan Peele's directorial debut Get Outwill be out soon, so it is understandable why Peele recently revealed another one of the film's alternate endings.
In a recent episode of "Talking with Chris Hadwick," Peele revealed he had considered having protagonist Chris saved by friend and TSA employee Rod, with the latter breaking into the Armitage household to save the former. However, he is already too late, with Chris already stuck in the Sunken Place.
"He's looking for Chris and he sees Chris looking in a window on Main Street, and he goes 'Chris!' and Chris turns to him and goes, 'I assure you, I don't know who you're talking about,'" Peele said, according to Yahoo.
Prior to this one, the other alternative ending Peele revealed was Chris getting apprehended by police and sent to jail for the rest of his life for murdering the Armitage family.
Both of these alternative endings will not be making an appearance on the DVD release since both of them were ideas and never filmed. However, the one alternative ending that will appear on the release has not been disclosed by Peele yet.
Aside from the alternate ending, the release will also include the following bonus features:
— Deleted Scenes with Commentary by Writer/Director Jordan Peele
— “Unveiling the Horror of Get Out“: Go behind-the-scenes for the making of Get Out
— Q&A Discussion with Writer/Director Jordan Peele and the Cast: Director/Writer Jordan Peele sits down with the cast to answer fan questions on the film hosted by Chance the Rapper
— Feature Commentary with Writer/Director Jordan Peele
The film, which continues to break records (most recently, Get Out crossed the $200 million mark at the worldwide box office), will be dropping on May 23.
