Kanye West Returns to Chicago to Work on Chance The Rapper's Album
Kanye is back in the kitchen.
In July, Chance The Rapper announced that Kanye West would be returning to Chicago to produce on his upcoming album. West did indeed return to his hometown to do just that, earlier this week.
Footage surfaced Wednesday night of West in a studio session with Chance.
Atlanta producer, Zaytoven posted a photo with Chance and West seemingly taken on the same day.
After leaving a local radio station, Kanye confirmed that he was in town to work with Chance, telling Fox 32 News, "I came home to work with Chance on his new album," he said. “It’s a super inspiring place that made me who I am, and I believe there’s some work that I can contribute to."

During the session, in honor of what would have been Michael Jackson's 60th birthday, West chopped up a sample of The Jackson 5’s 1971 hit “Never Can Say Goodbye.”
That same day, West appeared on WGCI-FM (107.5) and apologized for his TMZ interview comment on slavery being "a choice" for black Americans.
