Kanye's Ode To Himself Gets The 'Seinfeld' Opener Treatment
Through all of his self-adulating rants, tweets and audiovisual spectaculars, one thing is crystalline: Kanye West love him some Kanye West. In fact, Kanye loves himself so much that he actually fit his recent release, The Life Of Pablo, with an unabashed a cappella ode to himself (and, really, anyone whose interest in his personality has dissolved over the years.)
But in this day and age, we don't mark longevity of a release by actually giving it the room to live and breathe and be absorbed through a refined, well-though-out lens. No, today we know something has weight by how quickly a sample compilation comes together and the now imminent Seinfeld opening theme mashup, as was the case when Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly first spread its wings on the masses. Seeing as the whole crate-digging mix has already come together (courtesy of Mike Blud & Gianni Lee,) the next logical step has already been let loose, blending "I Love Kanye" with the bass-y pop of the legendary sitcom's iconic opener. And it's available for you to hear down below thanks to whoever the hell runs the always on-point Seinfeld2000 Twitter account. Hit play to hear it below and maybe one day we'll all love Kanye as much as Kanye loves Kanye (or not.) Either way, you should at least give The Life Of Pablo a run before you jump to any conclusions.
