Kanye West's Publicist Says 'Jesus is King' is Coming Tonight to Coincide with Detroit Sunday Service
Detroit's Fox Theatre announces a free event featuring Kanye West, while his publicist announces the album drops tonight.
After multiple outlets reported that Kanye West's album wouldn't be releasing this weekend, it seems the original plan is back on. Just after 3 PM on Friday afternoon, Detroit's Fox Theatre tweeted that Kanye West was bringing Jesus is King: A Kanye West Experience to the venue later that night at 8 PM. Shortly thereafter Kanye's publicist, Trevian Kutti, announced the album would drop at the same time as the show's opening.

The Fox Theatre added that the free event would be mobile-only with no PDFs, ticket transfers, screenshots allowed. According to the venue, upon entry, attendees will have cell phones and smartphones locked in a YONDR pouch for the duration of the show.
