Kanye West & His Sunday Service Choir Will Stage Their First Opera
Kanye West keeps on expanding.
A couple of weeks ago, Kanye West appeared Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show. During their talk, he compared himself to a biblical figure named Nebuchadnezzar.
Now we understood where he was going. On Sunday (November 17th) Kanye West announced that he would be conducting his first opera.

The opera will be called Nebuchadnezzar and it will be held at the Hollywood Bowl on November 24. The opera, which will feature Kanye's Sunday Service choir, will be directed by Vanessa Beecroft, a longtime collaborator of Kanye West.

Kanye tweeted out the invite artwork, designed by Nick Night.
During the Lowe interview, Kanye talked about his relation to Nebuchadnezzar, saying:
“[God] is saying, Let me take this Nebuchadnezzar-type character—Nebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon, and he looked at his entire kingdom and said, I did this...I stood on the top of the mountain talking about Yeezus, saying, ‘I’m a God’—I had a guy dressed as Jesus.”
