Kanye West Unleashes Teyana Taylor In Flashdance-inspired 'Fade' Video
Kanye West was given four minutes at the MTV Video Music Awards to do whatever he wanted, and after giving one of his patented "rants," he presented a new music video.
He began witha relatively tame speech - by Kanye standards - that shouted out his loved ones and collaborators like Kim Kardashian and Chance The Rapper, compared himself to history makers like Steve Jobs and Howard Hughes, and spoke about the gun violence in Chicago.Afterward, Kanye introduced the music video for The Life Of Pablo standout "Fade."
"I'm going to play y'all a piece of my art, and I hope you have a good time," Kanyesaid.
Much of the Flashdance-inspired music video showsa scanitly-clad G.O.O.D. Music signee Teyana Taylor dancing in a workout room. It then goesinto a steamy shower scene with Taylor and boyfriend/Cleveland Cavaliers forward Iman Shumpert. The videoends with a weird scene showing an Animorph-style Taylor, Shumpert, and sheep."
After the videowas premiered on the Video Music Awards, it was posted on Tidal, where it will presumably be exclusively streamed.
