Katt Williams Arrested for Alleged Assault on Driver in Oregon
The comedian has been arrested and jailed after reportedly assaulting a hired driver during an argument.
Katt Williams is facing more legal trouble.
The 47-year-old comedian was arrested and jailed on Saturday on suspicion of assaulting a hired driver in Portland, Oregon. The incident reportedly stemmed from an argument between Williams and the driver over taking him and his dog from the airport to a performance.
According to a report in CBS News, the town car driver had swelling and cuts on his face and was treated at a local hospital. Williams was charged with assault in the fourth degree and is being held at Multnomah County Jail. An arraignment is scheduled for Monday
The entertainer visited Portland to perform on Nick Cannon's "Wild 'N Out" show Friday night.

Last year, Williams was sentenced to three years of probation after pleading no contest to stealing a paparazzo's camera. Prosecutors reportedly stipulated that he attend anger management classes.
Williams recently won an Emmy Award for Best Guest Actor in a comedy series for his role in Atlanta.
