In her claim, Viktor alleged that the TDE duo's "All The Stars" video (directed by David Myers) appropriated aspects of her Constellations painting series. According to The New York Times, Viktor declined the use of her work in Black Panther after being approached by Marvel in 2016 and 2017, though images resembling her series ended up in the collaborative single's video anyway. Per a Pitchforkreport, Lamar and SZA moved to block Viktor from receiving any share of profits from the single or the Black Panther soundtrack. The case is now closed with all claims dismissed.
