Kid Cudi Leaves Rehab, Thanks Fans for Support in Heartfelt Letter
About a month back, Kid Cudi checked himself into rehab to treat depression and suicidal urges. Now he's checked out and dishing out the thanks yous in a letter to fans and friends posted to Facebook last night. Though some rappers have taken his time away as an opening to throw shots his way, Cudi appears to be all-hugs from here on out, expressing his gratitude for the support through this trying time. His public handling of the matter has sparked a needed conversation on mental health, and with G.O.O.D. Music founder, Kanye West, having been reportedly hospitalized for his own episodes, it could not have come at a better time.
Read the heartfelt address down below and look out for his new album, Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin' to arrive in the months ahead, anchored by the new single "Frequency" and "Surfin'."
