Kid Cudi Says Pusha-T Track is His Final Kanye West Collaboration
Kid Cudi has announced that his collaboration with Kanye West on the tracklist of Pusha T's new album It's Almost Dry will be their last.
There's no love lost between Kid Cudi and Kanye West. After a "final tracklist" for new Pusha-T album It's Almost Dry leaked on social media, Cudi tweeted that the collaboration was on the album – allegedly titled "Rock & Roll" – with him and his former Kids See Ghosts partner was made "a year ago" and would be the last between the two.
“I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye,” Cudi tweeted. “I am not cool w that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye.”
Before the release of DONDA 2, Ye went to Instagram and subbed Cudi for being pals with Pete Davidson. The two went back-and-forth on social media, with Cudi taking to Twitter after responding to Ye in his comments section.
"Too bad I dont wanna be on ur album u f***** dinosaur hahaha,” Cudi wrote. “everyone knows ive been the best thing about ur albums since i met u. Ima pray for you brother."
While Pusha-T hasn't spoken on the beef between his two album collaborators, the rapper last released new single "Neck & Wrist" featuring JAY-Z and Pharrell Williams after declaring Hov one of his top three "coke rappers" via Complex.
It's Almost Dry will release on Friday, April 22nd.
