Kid Cudi Unveils Track List For New LP feat. Andre 3000, Pharrell, Willow Smith + More
Kid Cudi's been in headlines for all the wrong reasons as of late. A Twitter tear named some hefty names and got his G.O.O.D Music label founder feeling some type of way, then walking back his discontent and claiming Cudi to be the most influential artist of the last ten years. Realistically, this was all fabricated beef for either a new Cudi and/or Kanye project. Today we learn it was probably the former, as Cudi revealed the 18-song, four act track list for the first of two promised 2016 releases, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin.
And, of course, it's stacked, with two features a piece from Andre 3000 and Pharrell, as well as contributions from Travis Scott and Willow Smith. Having originally claimed his albums would arrive by the end of September, the window's quickly closing to deliver, but we won't rush it. If the year's proven anything, it's that the less we shackle an artist to a schedule, the better the project tends to be (read: Blonde.) No word on when it'll arrive, but Kid Cudi's Twitter account seems to be the place to find out.
