Knxwledge Warps R&B Gems on New 'HX.PRT_13.8' Tape
December 08, 2019
The Stones Throw producer keeps the streak alive with a batch of warm and warped edits.
Keeping at an impossible pace, Knxwledge has released his ninth tape of the year with HX.PRT_13.8.
PLAYLIST: The Round-Up: Best Songs of The Week - ft. Madison McFerrin, Tame Impala, Adé Hakim, and More
The latest installment of his Hexual Sealings series is anchored by warps of r&b sleepers from Summer Walker, FH Snoop, and Musiq Soulchild, as well as an assortment of kush-kissed instrumental treatments. The new tape arrives just three weeks after the release of his last WrapTaypes set, which featured recalibrations of UGK's "International Players Anthem," JAY-Z's 'Dead Presidents," and GoldLink's "Pray Everyday." And according to a recent AMA on Instagram, the producer's readying a new studio album for 2020. So, rest assured, there's plenty more in the bag.
