Electronic Pioneers Kraftwerk Set To Release A "3D Album"
Earlier this year, electronic weirdos Kraftwerk conjured up a scheme to bring their expansive (and revered) catalogue to life in full-fledged 3D; the only way a Kraftwerk show should ever be experienced, honestly. And while many of us likely missed the opportunity to see the show, selling out in mere moments wherever it landed on the globe, the legendary quartet of pioneers has plans to bring you into their neon madness. Kraftwerk will be releasing something they like to call a "3D album," really a massive tour doc that fits the insanely elaborate concert series into a quaint blu-ray packaging, remastering the sounds and sights to fit the comforts of your living room rig. As of yet, there's no precise release date, but you can experience at least a morsel of that audiovisual bomb by checking out the video below, which hosts a full performance from Kraftwerk's stop in Stockholm last year. Check back with us in the months to come for the purchase links and official drop dates.
