Dwyane Wade & Dirk Nowitzki Played the Last Home Games of Their Career Last Night
It was a very emotional night in the NBA.
Two NBA legends played their last home game on Tuesday, April 9th: Dwyane Wade, who spent the majority of his career with the Miami Heat, winning three championships for the organization. And Dirk Nowitzki, who played his entire career for the Dallas Mavericks, winning one ring in the process.

They were both kings in their city. And, for the final home games, they were showered with love and praise. Before the Heat tipped off against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Miami Heat aired an emotional video displaying Wade's career.
Wade ended up having a monster game: scoring 30 points in a 122- 99 win. Besides the tribute, the highlight ended up being watching Wade crash into John Legend and Chrissy Teigen in the stands:

Over at the American Airlines Center, the Dallas Mavericks beat the Phonix Suns 120 - 109. It was a night to honor Dirk Nowitzki, who officially announced that he was retiring. For his ceremony, Scottie Pippin, Charles Barkley, and Larry Bird showed up.
