LaVar Ball Extends His Feud W/ Donald Trump in Wild CNN Interview
LaVar Ball is still undefeated
On Monday night, LaVar Ball, the father of LA Laker rookie Lonzo Ball, appeared on CNN Tonight with Chris Cuomo.
As you would imagine, the moment was incredible.
Ball took to CNN to address his feud with President Donald Trump. (Welcome to 2017.) Of course LaVar Ball, who is one of the most effective promoters right now, used the opportunity to turn the interview into a moment (even plugging his Big Baller Brand in the process.) The main point of the interview? Ball isn't saying thank you to Trump:
"I don't have to go around saying 'thank you' to everybody. He didn't call me. I didn't shake his hand. He didn't have to say nothin', but I'm just sayin'. I have to know what somebody is doing before I say 'thank you.' I'm not just going to go around saying thank you."
Here are some more highlights:

And then finally, Ball wrapped the whole thing with a bow:

LaVar's son LiAngelo Ball and two of his UCLA basketball teammates were arrested for shoplifting in China earlier this month. The student athletes were all facing three to ten years in prison.
However, they were released and Trump very publicly took credit for it. LaVar downplayed the president's involvement, which lead to a string of Trump tweets yesterday:

The interview was on cable news so there's a good chance that Trump will see this eventually. And respond. Watch the full interview below.
