"Broccoli City is a Black-owned social enterprise that focuses on people and progress," reads a statement from BCF. "We foster creativity and community growth by building innovative experiences that intersect technology, music, art, and social impact."
Lil Uzi Vert, who released his latest EP Red & White last July, has caught a Jersey Club wave with hit single "I Just Wanna Rock," which was briefly played during the 2023 Grammy Awards. Sullivan, who won Grammy Awards for Best R&B Album (Heaux Tales) and Best R&B Performance ("Pick Up Your Feelings") in 2022, recently hosted Words + Music special The Art of Confessing on Audible. Last year, Faiyaz released his sophomore album Wasteland, which had appearances from DJ Dahi, Tyler, the Creator, Alicia Keys, Drake, The Neptunes and more.
Last May, BCF featured performances from Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Joyce Wrice, Wale, Wizkid, Summer Walker, Rico Nasty, Tems, Ari Lennox, Don Tolliver and others. In a recent interview with Boardroom, BCF founders Brandon McEachern and Marcus Allen explained their plans for moving the festival forward.
“We’ve been working on this business model for a while, which is figuring out how we can create some sort of a record label model in live events,” Allen said. “We want to build our brand, build community, and touch other entrepreneurs. This deal really allows us to leverage all of our partners and entrepreneurs we know to take Broccoli City to the next level and do more business.”
Tickets to BCF are available now.
