Lil Yachty to Star in MTV's New "How High" Sequel
Lil Yachty is pivoting to acting.
This week, the 21-year-old Atlanta rapper announced he'd be starring in MTV's new "How High." This will be Yachty's first ever film appearance.
Yachty made the announcement in a video posted to his Twitter account, confirming that the film is currently in production.
According to a report in Variety, production for the film began in Atlanta on Wednesday.
The original "How High" was released in 2001 and starred Redman and Method Man.

Yachty will play the character Roger, the younger brother of one of the protagonists from the original film. According to a description from MTV, Roger and his friend go “on a magical hash-fueled journey to fund their on-demand munchies delivery start-up.”
Lil Yachty will also be executive producing the film alongside Kevin “Coach K” Lee, Pierre “Pee” Thomas, and Brian Sher for Quality Control,
