Solange Live At SXSW [Full 30-Min Set] + Limited Edition EP
OKP's once and future musical crush Solange Knowles put down a live set at Austin's famed Arlyn Studios while in town for the SXSW festival that's currently messing with Texas, part of a series put together by Nokia and Verizon Wireless. You can catch the full 30-minute (ish) set below, comprising basically a live version of her recent True EP with Dev Hynes of Blood Orange, plus "T.O.N.Y." from her sophomore joint, Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams (not to be confused with Capone-N-Noreaga's "Top Of New York"). In other True stories, Solange dropped a limited edition release of the EP through NYC boutique Opening Ceremony, featuring new artwork designed by Mickalene Thomas, who's also had a hand in the photos and video trailers around the project (and was also a heavy inspiration for dream hampton's video for "QueenS" by THEESatisfaction, btw). Hit the link below to cop it while it's fresh from the CD-burner, smart money says they won't last long.
