"Black Power L Word" and "KJazz" came this past weekend via Fiasco's Twitter. Both under three minutes, the songs are a reminder of the rapper's lyrical prowess, especially the latter.
The tracks come after the rapper took to Twitter to talk about his place among the great lyricists in rap music.
"I never felt I was the best but I knew that I had moments of unquestioned brilliance that earned my place among the rappers I respected," Fiasco wrote. "...But when it comes 2 lyrics (which is the ONLY thing I care about) you'd be very hard pressed 2say I'm not one of the best ever #TBE for real."
"I don't make the best "music" & I never will. Cuz I don't really care about music. I care about bars. My first raps weren't even wrote 2 music," the artist continued. "I have nearly every accolade there is to have in the music business the only thing left is to be the GOAT Lyricist & that's the pace I'm on."
Fiasco also recently released a track dedicated to Lil B titled "All While Doing A Rubik's Cube One-Handed." He will also be embarking on a short tour in November that will conclude in early December.
