Malia Obama Moves Into Harvard With Help From Barack And Michelle
Malia Obama has officially moved into her college dorm room at Harvard University.
The Obamas were present at the Massachusetts campus on Monday as they helped their oldest daughter move in. In a news report, which can be viewed below, are two videos with one showing Malia walking around campus (presumably with a friend), and the other showing the Obamas greeting reporters and photographers before getting lunch at Harvest in Harvard Square.
Malia arrives at Harvard after taking a gap year following high school. During that time, the 19-year-old interned for the HBO show Girls andThe Weinstein Company, a TV production company, as well as served as a production assistant for Halle Barry's CBS series Extant.
Earlier this month, Malia's father celebrated his birthday and was honored with his very own day in his home state of Illinois. "Barack Obama Day" was signed into law by Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner, with the state holiday being celebrated across Illinois on August 4 (Obama's birthday) every year starting in 2018.

The bill states that the holiday will be "observed throughout the State as a day set apart to honor the 44th President of the United States of America who began his career serving the People of Illinois in both the Illinois State Senate and the United States Senate, and dedicated his life to protecting the rights of Americans and building bridges across communities."
