Mary J. Blige & Disclosure Collide On The Dance-Floor Friendly Single "Follow"
Mary J. Blige and Disclosure rekindle their sonic bond on the club-ready single "Follow" off the r&b queen's forthcoming The London Sessions LP. The album's treated us to some MJB's finest balladry in years, including some collaborative action with the UK's finest. While most of the offerings we've seen from the record have aired on the side of stripped-down, acoustic slow-burners today we've got a single that's sure to put you on the good foot as we slowly creep up on the weekend. "Follow" is laced with the wonder-twins' signature electronic minimalism and Blige's soaring vox, recalling something you might imagine MJ would have conjured up if he had lived long enough to embrace the EDM prism. Luckily, we've got Blige to hold down the thrown. And it is, of course, the second time Mary's linked with the spry pioneers, following their team-up on "F For You" on their own self-titled debut. Her London Sessions LP is slated to feature collaborative work with aforementioned brothers-in-blood and arms, Sam Smith, Jimmy Napes,Emile Sandeand so many more. Listen to Mary J. Blige and Disclosure's electric collaboration "Follow" below and preorder your copy of The London Sessions on iTunes ahead of its December 2nd release.
