On one end, there's 2017 smash "Mask Off." On the other, Badu's debut single and classic in its own right, "On & On."
Keeping the spaghetti trap western in tact, Badu's vox laces the cut with her hallmark drawl, timeless as it is effect-less, emboldening the Dallas/Atlanta connection by way of a new generation and texture. Badu released her own "trap&b" opus in 2015, when a half-joke got serious in a hurry and manifested as her But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape, produced by Zach Witness with a contribution from Andre 3000.
