Megan Thee Stallion Drops 'Something For The Hotties' Mixtape Featuring Production by Juicy J
On Friday, Megan Thee Stallion unveiled her latest project packed with freestyles. Tracks on the tape are produced by her frequent collaborators including Juicy J, OG Parker, and more.
Megan Thee Stallion has dropped off her newest mixtape Something For The Hotties.
Since freestyling is one of her many talents it’s fitting that this tape is jam-packed with freestyles. A few heavy hitters on the project include “Tuned In Freestyle,” “Megan Monday Freestyle,” “Southside Forever Freestyle” and “Bless The Booth Freestyle.”
On Wednesday, Megan teased the release of the mixtape, she shared the cover of it and the entire tracklist.
In a new interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, she expressed that she’s dropping an album next year. She added that these tracks didn’t fit in with the content that’s in the pipeline so she made a decision to share them with her hungry fans.
On Something For The Hotties she said:
“It is literally something for the hotties. So it's all the freestyles that are recent over original beats. That the hotties have been asking me to put on streaming platforms. And it's just a sprinkle of some new things. So I'm working on two albums, right? So I'm just recording a bunch of music. And things that didn't seem like they started fitting on the project that I know I'm going to release next year, I'm like, okay. It sounds like these songs go more cohesive together. This is one of the projects. So the two albums that I'm working on, Something For Thee Hotties, and y'all know I'm not about to tell y'all the name of the second album, I have been recording songs for a long time.”
When speaking on who she worked on this mixtape with she shared:
“Everybody who I work with is always going to be across all my projects. So y'all know LilJu is on this. Y'all know Juicy J is on it. Buddha Bless This Beat, OG Parker, a guy that I've never worked with before, his name is Hit-Kid, but y'all will definitely hear a lot of stuff from me and Hit-Kid on this project and on my future projects because it's just fire. I love that Memphis sound, I love the Texas sound, so anytime I get to mesh the two it always comes out fire.”
